This photo was sent to me the other day, along with the following comments about the up and coming parking strategy by the Whangarei District Council.

"For all the environmentalists – Finally someone is using all that green space you have been lobbying for..
For the gas guzzling 4X4 enthusiasts – Big is good!  Just look at what is possible
For the Parking Wardens – Is this considered parking on a grass verge?
For the Scottish – Two spaces for the price of one. Well done.
For the driver of the vehicle – Now that was thinking outside the square…Yet you remained within the circle…A circle is just a square without the restriction of corners.
I like his style."

I do hope that no damage was done.  On another note, the Whangarei District Council Parking Strategy must have your feedback on the 15th July 2011.
